Authorized Uses

MotorDNA, hereby, grants you a non-exclusive, not-transferable license for the term hereof to access and download, display, and print the content on this site on any single computer solely for your internal, business use, provided that you do not modify such content in any way and that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices displayed on such content. Permitted Use of Vehicle and Driver Information

You acknowledge and agree that MotorDNA may access, use, and process vehicle-related information, including information that may be associated with motor vehicle records, in accordance with applicable law, including the Driver's Privacy Protection Act ("DPPA"), for permissible purposes including:

  • motor vehicle and driver safety, theft prevention, emissions compliance, product recalls, and performance monitoring;
  • verifying vehicle ownership and vehicle-related information to support automotive transactions, including servicing, maintenance, trade-in, purchase, or sale of vehicles;
  • facilitating accurate identification of vehicles to provide relevant services, recommendations, and notifications (including safety recalls and maintenance alerts); and
  • supporting legitimate business operations, including fraud prevention, identity verification, and debt recovery.

You agree that such use is necessary for the proper functioning of the MotorDNA platform and related services.

Financing and Credit Authorization

To the extent you request or utilize financing-related services through MotorDNA, you authorize MotorDNA and its partners to obtain and use information about you, including consumer report information, for the purpose of providing you with prequalification offers, financing options, and related services. Any such inquiries may include "soft" credit inquiries that do not affect your credit score, where permitted by law. Additional authorization may be requested where required for specific financial products.

Submissions

MotorDNA may use information you submit to the platform to operate, improve, and provide its services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy. MotorDNA may use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques you may provide through this site, for any purpose. MotorDNA has no duty to keep such information confidential, except as MotorDNA agrees to in advance in writing, or as required by law.
